SIA Depozīts is a company that offers a solution for the complete replacement of reusable dishes in Latvia at festivals, concerts and sports events, as well as other large public events - stadiums, arenas, etc. etc., using our range of reusable mugs, cups and other dishes and take-away containers. Our service includes delivery, collection, washing and storage of dishes, as well as consultation.

Our team consists of employees with many years of experience in the field of event organization and hospitality. Our team management consists of professionals from various industries who are closely related to the development of sustainable business and promote the transition to a green economy in the future. This experience and collection of ideas opened up opportunities for us to introduce the use of deposit containers at public events in Latvia, which has already been successfully implemented in other European Union countries. We provide our employees with periodic training to improve our knowledge and keep up with the latest innovations in the field of packaging and its recycling, as well as to implement these principles at the core of our company's operations.

Our office, washing center and warehouse are located in Riga. This strategic location allows us to reach festivals and other events in the country with the least possible number of kilometers, thus helping to reduce the carbon footprint (emissions) of our transport services. We cooperate with those who organize cultural and sports events, serve concert halls, arenas, open-air stages, as well as festival venues throughout the country. We have also established successful cooperation with bars, restaurants, catering companies in the field of street sales and producers of the most recognizable beer brands. We also offer to conclude a contract for washing services for catering and tableware rental companies operating in this sector.

Do we have equipment that can wash large volumes of reusable dishes? Yes, in cooperation with equipment manufacturers with experience in this sector, a dishwashing line was specially designed to our requirements, capacity and dish sizes, which is capable of providing a full cycle. The dishes in the washing line go through processes from soaking to drying. The dishwasher line used is one of the most energy-efficient in the industry and is powered by 100% sustainable energy. We can provide washing of up to (number) reusable dishes per week.

If you have a catering, beverage or similar business that is already operating in the industry but needs dishwashing, we can help. Our service can include collecting dishes from the venue, washing, drying, storing and regular, ongoing delivery back to the venue if required.

In addition to the growing concern about single-use plastics and their recycling, the European Union Directive on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment has legally binding consumption reduction targets for food and drink containers. This means that every European country must reduce the amount of single-use plastic products. Unfortunately, most of the single-use containers that could theoretically be recycled are not actually recycled due to the dirt that is created after use. This means that additional taxes are being introduced to increase the cost of single-use and to push more people towards sustainable, reusable solutions. Our range of containers is made from a single type of plastic, which is free of impurities and is washable and recyclable.

Our assortment mainly includes 0.3 l, 0.4 l and 0.5 l cups. We also offer reusable coffee and other hot drink mugs, which keep the drink warm, while the mug itself remains cool on the outside. Hot drink containers are used with recyclable lids. All our mugs are 100% reusable and recyclable. All our products are manufactured in the European Union.

Yes, we are the only service provider in Latvia that offers a reusable solution that eliminates the need for disposable containers for food and beverage packaging. The range of food storage containers can be supplied simultaneously with cups and mugs for hot and cold drinks, providing a full cycle service.

Our glasses are made of polypropylene (designed for approximately 300 washes) or polycarbonate (designed for approximately 500 washes). Polypropylene is semi-transparent with a matt effect, while polycarbonate is transparent and resembles glass, however, it is plastic and therefore meets safety regulations for use at large events (glassware is prohibited at public events).

Yes, all of our containers, including cups, are made from the same type of plastic, which makes recycling easier because they do not contain any additional plastic impurities. After multiple uses, we hand over the containers to waste management companies for recycling.

Yes, a cup for which a deposit has been paid can serve as a memento of the event attended by visitors. However, everyone should evaluate how necessary such a souvenir is and whether the container will be used repeatedly. Experience shows that reusable cups marked with the event or company logo are four times more likely to be taken with them than identical cups without printing.

Depending on the event location and the quantity of dishes required, we can very quickly prepare a competitive quote based on the requirements of the specific event or venue.
