We offer sustainable solutions to reduce the circulation of single-use food and beverage packaging at sports arenas, concert and festival venues and other outdoor events by using reusable containers. In Latvia, in 2023, only 3% of all organizers of public outdoor events used reusable containers as part of their catering packaging, mostly cups. With our chosen direction of action and the responsiveness of our cooperation partners, we are on our way to better statistics in the near future.

Each of us has a role to play in preserving the environment – at home, at work and in our free time. This is especially important in the event and hospitality sector. There are over 2,000 outdoor events in Latvia every year, and it is estimated that over 20 million single-use plastic cups are used and thrown away every year, not including plastic cups used at indoor events.

In recent years, we have become accustomed to recycling single-use plastic (PET) and glass bottles and aluminum cans. The direction and goal of our activity is to achieve a similar result – the reduction of waste in nature. The step-by-step process is similar to the already known process of returning empty containers to the packaging deposit system. The biggest difference is in the raw materials – reusable containers are made from other types of plastics that do not contain substances hazardous to health, allowing the containers to be reused after washing countless times.

SIA Depozīts team is made up of people who are experts in equipment and rental matters, hospitality business, as well as effective team and project management.

We are the first company in Latvia to provide a full-cycle service for the reuse and washing of dishes. Our offer includes:

Our mission is to turn sustainability from words into real action by offering reusable tableware. These dishes not only help to reduce the impact on the environment, but also significantly reduce the amount of waste after events, making the environment cleaner and more beneficial for future generations.

The company’s major investments have been made in modern technology to make dishwashing more environmentally friendly and efficient. More environmentally friendly chemical cleaning agents are used for washing and water consumption is optimized to a minimum, while at the same time guaranteeing the cleanliness of the dishes.

Our support for nature does not end with waste reduction; we use green electricity produced from renewable resources in our business.
